Session Time

The most advantageous time do the session is when your children are well rested and content. If we do outside shots, the best lighting is either first thing in the morning or towards evening. Sessions normally last between 30 minutes and 2 hours. I feel as though there is no need to rush the session, and children are encouraged to take a snack or play break as necessary!

What to Wear

When making clothing selections, please avoid distracting patterns such as plaids and stripes as they tend to distract from the face. Newborns are generally photographed naked or with a solid onesie or sleeper. Feel free to bring a special blanket or stuffed animal with you for your portraits. Bare feet look better in pictures than shoes. For newborn shoots please bring a black shirt with you so I can take picture of you holding your infant, this way the focus will be completely on your baby.

For group shots, I recommend wearing soild color tops and jeans or kahki pants.

Proofs

Your images will be available in an on-line gallery for viewing within five days of the photo session. You will have at least 20 images to choose from in both color, black & white, sepia and a few color enhancements. These are your "proofs" and will only be viewable for a limited time (usually 7 days).

A complimentary 5 x 7 print, using the picture of your choice, will be a gift to you if your order is placed within 48 hours of the proofs being posted on-line. There is a fee of $20 for re-posting the gallery.

STORAGE

Your portraits will be kept on file for six months.

YOUR ORDER

Your prints are guaranteed to be ready for pickup or delivery within two weeks of your order/payment. I will contact you when they come and either ship them to you or schedule a time for pickup.

Please DO NOT bring your own camera to the photo session. This is NOT allowed, thank you ahead of time for your understanding and cooperation.

SALES AND PAYMENT

All sales are final. Checks, major credit cards via PayPal, and cash are accepted as forms of payment. Half of your order total is due before I place the order, the other half can be paid when you receive the prints. Since I am booking sessions so far in advance, for 2007 you will be required to pay half of your session fee when you book your session, the other half on the day of your session. This is a non-refundable fee. Session fee may be transferred one time, in case your session must be rescheduled due to illness or weather.
